Setting up your Club, Sailors and Boats
With arcSail, you can begin recording Events, Fleets and Races directly on the water if you like, or if you prefer, you can start by predefining the catalog of Clubs, Sailors and Boats who will be participating in your events prior to leaving shore. This will reduce the amount of time required on the water before starting your first race.
Setting up your Club(s)

You can predefine one or more Clubs. Sailors that associated will have their club name shown along side theirs in the results.
For your home club, set:
A burgee for results reports
An image for app home page
For each additional club (for your visiting sailors), set:
A burgee for results reports
Select your default club by tapping it in the Clubs list.

You can predefine a list of sailors competing at your club.
For each sailor, set:
The sailor’s name
The club(s) the sailor belongs to
Optionally, the sailors ISAF# can be provided (not used by arcSail)
Additional sailors can be added at any time.

You can predefine a list of boats competing at your club.
For each boat, set:
The sail number or boat name
The boat class (this determines the boat's class handicap)
The skipper, crew and club
You can optionally also set:
The country, bow number and the boat's PHRF rating
Additional boats can be added at any time.
